What Do We Do?
Americanism:
Promoting respect for the flag and appreciation of our freedoms are the primary purposes of Exchange's Americanism programs. We promote greater community awareness of the privileges of American citizenship by installing Freedom Shrines, framed documents such as the Constitution, Gettysburg Address, and Declaration of Independence. Exchange members distribute American flags at patriotic parades as a part of our Giveakidaflagtowave program. We also honor local individuals and businesses that properly display Old Glory in public with our Proudly We Hail project.
