Be A Volunteer
What about bad weather?? We have a rain date exactly one week later. If
weather is in question, volunteers can call 512-647-7488 at 9 am on event
day. There will be a recorded message telling you if the kite festival will
be held or postponed due to weather conditions. Please know it takes a LOT
of bad weather to get us to post-pone the event. If the event does get postponed,
we sincerely hope you will be available to help on the rain date. We rely
on our volunteers and postponing the event makes it very difficult to get
help. We are very sincerely asking that you help us on the rain date if
weather should intervene.
Because of the volunteers who generously give their time and talents to
this event, local children get the help they need to lead safe, healthy
and happy lives. Thank you so much for caring!
